All levels of The Grove Theatre are fully accessible via a lift, with wheelchair accessible seats in both the Stalls and Circle. Please advise the Box Office when booking if you require a wheelchair accessible seat as some seats may require escorted access by a member of theatre staff. Please note that the accessible seating areas are not suitable for mobility scooters. If you have an exceptionally large and/or specialist wheelchair, please contact our Box Office for guidance on the best seating areas we can offer you.
BLUE BADGE HOLDERS
parking is immediately to the rear of the theatre’s Stage Door, with a gently sloping access path to the front of the theatre building.
WHEELCHAIR TRANSFER SERVICE
the theatre has a number of wheelchairs that are available so that our staff can assist you getting from the car park to a suitable seat for performances (but cannot be used as a seat during the performance). Please contact the Box Office to book a wheelchair transfer/suitable seat for any performance.
INFRA RED SYSTEM
an infra-red system for the accessibility hearing loop operates in the auditorium. The equipment to enable you to use this service is available from the Box Office prior to the performance.
GUIDE & HEARING DOGS
your guide or hearing dog is welcome: please advise the Box Office at time of booking.

We will not authorise the sale of personal assistant tickets to people who are not able to provide the required proof, via Nimbus Disability which we consider to be fair and reasonable, and in line with the policies of similar organisations. This is to protect the integrity of the scheme and ensure that this facility remains available to those customers who could not attend without additional support. We will remove the ability to book such tickets from anyone found to be misusing this facility.
