When four misfits are struggling with their ordinary problems, they are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination; known as the Overworld.
This ragtag group of misfits, Garret Garrison, Henry, Natalie and Dawn (Jason Momoa, Sebastian Hansen, Emma Myers and Danielle Brooks), must master the Overworld in order to get back home. Alongside an unexpected expert crafter called Steve (Jack Black), they embark on a magical quest to protect the Overworld and take on evil Piglings and Zombies.
Their adventure will challenge all five of them to be bold and to reconnect with the qualities that make each of them uniquely creative… the very skills they need to thrive back in the real world.
