RARE Productions
This unique youth theatre group provides over 300 large-scale productions for numerous communities across the country, including The Grove Theatre. RARE Productions provide fantastic opportunities where budding young performers can learn, experience and perform full UK scale productions. More information about RARE Productions.
RARE are holding open auditions for their production of Peter Pan in 2026 (the show will be held on 19 – 21 February at The Grove):
AUDITION 1 – Monday 13th October 2025
5.00pm – 6.00pm (7 – 12 year olds) – You can arrive anytime during this time slot.
6.00pm – 7:00pm (13 – 21 year olds) – You can arrive anytime during this time slot.
AUDITION 2 – Sunday 19th October 2025
2.00pm – 3.30pm (7 – 12 year olds) – You can arrive anytime during this time slot.
3.30pm – 5.00pm (13 – 21 year olds) – You can arrive anytime during this time slot.
All performers must be 8 years old by the time of the show!
Simply turn up any time within the allocated time slot for your age group, sign in, and audition! You only need to attend one audition. The person auditioning will go into the audition in groups of approximately 15-20 people of a similar age group where possible (8-12yrs or 13-18 yrs/13-21yrs depending on show title). Auditions usually last around 30 minutes and involve singing, dancing and acting. All materials are provided and taught on the day, so there is no need to prepare anything beforehand. Parents are not allowed into the audition room, but are asked to stay and supervise their children before and after the audition. A letter will be sent in the post letting you know the outcome of the audition within two weeks of the second audition date. All auditionees will receive a letter whether successful or not.

Inspiring Music
Central Bedfordshire Council’s music service provision aims to engage all children and young people through their interests in music and enable them to become the musicians they want to be! Children and young people can get involved via lessons in school, or at a local Music Centre. Dunstable Musical Theatre Company (formerly DAOS) are always looking for new people to get involved in their group – whether that be at a performance level or behind-the-scenes.
