Showing at the Eric Morecambe Centre…

Harpenden Musical Theatre Company is delighted to bring the spectacular musical ‘Big Fish’ to the Eric Morecambe Centre.

With music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and a book by John August, this magnificent musical is based on Daniel Wallace’s acclaimed novel Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions and Tim Burton’s much-loved film.

At its heart, Big Fish is a powerful story about family, love, imagination and the extraordinary legacy we leave behind.

The musical follows Edward Bloom, a charismatic travelling salesman whose larger-than-life adventures have become legendary. His incredible tales feature a mysterious witch, a towering giant, a beautiful mermaid and the unforgettable journey that led him to the love of his life, Sandra. But are these stories fact, fantasy, or something in between?

Filled with breathtaking imagination, heartfelt humour, sensational dancing and unforgettable music, Big Fish is a celebration of storytelling, family and the enduring bonds between generations, which creates a theatrical experience that is both emotionally moving and visually magical.
