Accessibility
Leighton Buzzard Library Theatre is located on the second floor of the library building. The auditorium features a raised stage area with 170 raked seats arranged in ten rows of 17, with side access for convenience.
Ground Floor Access
Access to the library building from Lake Street is through double doors. Delivery vehicles can unload directly outside these doors, but access to the parking area is via disabled parking bays in Lake Street and may not always be accessible. Parking for a limited number of vehicles is available at the rear of the building and should be requested in advance.
Access to the Theatre
From the entrance, you can access the theatre either by using the passenger lift or by climbing three flights of stairs and passing through two sets of double doors.
Staff Assistance
Please notify us in advance of how many staff members you will need from the venue to assist with your setup and preparation.

Stage and Floor
The stage floor is made of polished timber planking, which can be covered with a black Harlequin floor if desired. To ensure availability, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance of your preference for the floor covering. Only theatre staff are authorized to lay or remove the Harlequin floor.
Stage screws are not permitted.
The theatre provides six stage weights for your use.
