At Everyone Theatres, we strive to make all events across our venues as accessible as possible. We aim to programme performances with a range of access needs in mind, including BSL interpretation, captioning and relaxed performances. Quiet spaces and touch tours may be available upon request. If you have any specific queries or concerns attributed to individual venues, please refer to the access section in the venue section of the website.
What We Provide
Wheelchair User access
All venues have allocated spaces for wheelchair users. Please advise the venue/s when booking if you require a wheelchair accessible seat. Please also note that the accessible seating areas are not always suitable for mobility scooters. If you have an exceptionally large and/or specialist wheelchair, please contact the venue for guidance on the best seating areas offered. There are accessible toilets in each venue. Please note – not all our venues have lifts to all floors, please check the access information on specific venue web pages.
Deaf/ Hearing Impaired
The venues operate a variety of systems, such as fixed induction loop, Infra Red System and WaveCAST WIFI app transmitter. For venue specific information regarding systems, and upcoming BSL interpretation or captioned performances, please check the venue access web page for further information. If you require seating to lip-read, please contact the venue’s box office.
Blind or Vision Impaired
For certain shows we may be able to provide a pre-show touch tour. For further information please check the event listing on the website.
Assistance Dogs
Your guide or hearing dog is welcome: please advise the Box Office at time of booking. We do require proof of eligibility through a Recognised Assistance Dog ID card.
Everyone Theatres Access Membership
The Everyone Theatres Access Membership scheme is free to join and helps us to be aware of your access requirements and how we can assist you when attending the theatre. In some cases, where we cannot make a reasonable adjustment, this allows a companion ticket to be purchased at a reduced price or at no extra cost. Personal Assistant / Essential Companion tickets are subject to venue availability and at the promotor’s discretion. Please note some events may limit accessibility seats. These seats/discounts will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Personal Assistant/Essential companion tickets or discounts are only available to those paying for a full price adult ticket. These do not apply to those accompanying children under 16 who are not permitted in our venues without an accompanying adult.
Personal Assistant/Essential Companions are responsible for the safety of those in their care in the event of an evacuation.
We currently do not offer online bookings for our accessible seating. Patrons are encouraged to book tickets in person or through our box offices.
Please contact the venue/s box office either by telephone, email or in person to set up your Access membership. Customers looking to book access tickets and who require a Personal Assistant / Essential Companion must provide documentation and Photo ID* to confirm eligibility. This also applies to Carers booking on behalf of someone else. We ask this to ensure a correct and fair system is in place for customers who require support throughout their visit.
